Is there favortism in my JROTC battalion?
do you think that this is fair. My friend is a LET 2 and will be a LET 3 next year. Currently i am the Logistics officer and he is the adjuants officer. He will become the CSM next year. He has Automatically been named color gaurd commander (i understand CSM) but also the drill team commander, armed exhibition commander and the 1SG for camp…is this really fair to every other staff member?
Hey, I know this is super huge to you now, but in the big picture, its not. Real military doesnt care what you did in JROTC, as long as you did the years required to give you higher rank. To give you perspective, I spent 3 years as a Cadet Corporal.
Now, because the year is closing out, talk to the departing CSM or a high ranking LET 4, since they’re leaving and may not (or should not) give a care about JROTC politics anymore.
