Eagle Global Logistics

Has Eagle Global Logistics based in Houston Texas been sued by an employee for harassment?
The only listed case in which Eagle Global Logistics is a defendant in Houston Civil Court was with a plaintiff named Lease Dimensions.
Charges for violating Equal Employment Opportunity laws are filed with State and Federal agencies before a suit is filed. A person who claims to have been harassed has to go through either agency (State or Federal) to get a “Right to Sue” notice/letter. The governmental agencies push for arbitration, or some other means of solving the problem. So just because an employee has not sued, doesn’t necessarily mean there was not an issue. The employee may have not had the time, energy and money to file and follow through with a lawsuit. They parties may have come to an agreement. The employee may have just been trying to get money from the company. He/she may have decided they were not harassed after all.
You may never be able to know from a non-biased source if there was a problem or not. Information collected by EEO agencies are held in strict confidence. I’m not sure if they fall under the Freedom of Information Act; I think they do not. After parties reach an agreement through arbitration, both parties must sign a confidentiality agreement. So most likely no firsthand person can say anything about the issue, if there was one.
This may have been way more info than you wanted, but I’m tired and felt like rambling…. night.
