EV leveling Logistics?
I’m a beginner at EV leveling.
How can you tell how much EV your pokemon already has in each stat if you haven’t been keeping track? is the only way to be sure that you get the max amount to use 11 EV decreasing berries to make sure its at 0 and start fresh?
Does EV results only show up when you level up? If they do, do they carry over? Say you get 3 ev points in HP on level 40 and lvl up. now your 41. between 41-42 you get another ev in HP. When you level to level 43 do you get +1 HP since 3+1 = 4 or is it confined to the duration of a level?
I hear you can deposit your pokes in the pc and they will show new stat changes based on their current EV?
Unfortunately, the only way to determine EVs is to keep track (or, yes, to restart with 11 EV reducing berries).
EV boosts occur on lvl up, yes, but the boosts occur gradually until lvl 100. By the time your Pokemon reaches lvl 100, it will have received EVs/4 boosts in their respective stats. There is no promise that it will happen at lvl X.
As for the depositing-your-Pokemon-in-the-PC trick, that only worked in generation I (RBY).
