Job suggestions for a college student in houston?
Hey I’m currently going to college right now, and I’m working with Exel Logistics, but i’d like a new job. My work experience is just jack in the box crew and various departments in kroger. I’m making 8.25 an hour right now, and hoping to make some more.
Been looking for jobs and haven’t found much that would seem like a good fit to me. Been looking at sales rep jobs and see if anyone knows about em? Saw an ad for TXU sales reps but im not too certain abotu that one. Also, don’t suggest work-study. i alrady know abotu it and from what i’ve heard it doesn’t pay much (still gonna look into it though)
Just trying to helpout my family with their bills a bit. i can currently just pay off my bills haha. Thanks for any help.
You did not say what your major was in college or how long you been in college. If you have at least two years of college you should be looking for an intern position related to your degree.
The thing is that work experience in your field will be worth a lot more when you graduate than the few extra dollars you might earn with a job in an unrelated field.
